Science Museum opens new Cosmonauts exhibition for events

London’s Science Museum in South Kensington has launched a new add-on for corporate events to coincide with the opening of its major exhibition, Cosmonauts: Birth of the Space Age, on 18 September.

The venue is also offering the option of an exclusive private viewing of the new exhibition after 6pm, followed by dinner or drinks in one of the museum’s gallery spaces.

Running until March 2016, Cosmonauts: Birth of the Space Age will reveal the most significant collection of Russian spacecraft and artefacts ever to be shown in the UK. Visitors to the exhibition can discover how Russia became the first nation to explore space.

The Exploring Space gallery contains a fascinating collection of rockets, satellites, space probes and landers and can accommodate 300 guests for a reception and 180 for a dinner.

Jodie Guilford, event sales manager at the Science Museum, says: “We are very pleased to be able to offer clients a private viewing of our new Cosmonauts exhibition, which opens later this month. Clients booking evening events in our exiting range of gallery spaces can now make the night even more special by treating their guests to an exclusive viewing of this inspiring new exhibition.”
