Electronics specialists from the Far East to the North West will meet in Manchester this month.
Maplin has hired Yorkshire live events company Simply Better to deliver its annual staff conference for 300 colleagues.
The retailer has its headquarters in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, and more than 200 stores throughout the UK and Ireland.
The conference on 24 September at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester will bring together store managers, support centre staff and colleagues from Hong Kong.
It is the fourth consecutive year that Simply Better has produced Maplin’s conference, with the event developing since the partnership began in 2012. Simply Better provides delegate management, event production, event management, video production, exhibition build and assistance with content.
Oli Meakin, CEO of Maplin, said: “This will be our biggest conference yet, bringing all of our store managers, colleagues and key suppliers to celebrate the current performance and share the future plans we have for Maplin.”
