Baltic meetings industry trade show, Convene, has opened its registration system for hosted buyer applicants for its 2016 edition next February.
Convene 2016 will be the fourth edition of the event and takes place in the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius.
The programme offers selected buyers, including applicants from the UK, complimentary return travel, transfers, hotel accommodation, a welcome reception and gala networking event, full daytime and evening refreshments as well as the opportunity of applying for a place on one of a number of fam trips out into region’s destinations.
Event director Jolanta Beniuliene says: “Convene continues to present the best regional providers of meetings products and services to the international hosted buyer community. The event is tailored to hosted buyer choice-the buyers choose who they want to see and what time of the day they want to have their pre-scheduled meetings. Our high quality educational programme adds an additional dimension to the extensive range of hosted buyer benefits on offer.”
Next year organisers are targeting 165+ hosted buyers from Europe and estimate 3,750 pre-scheduled business appointments to be conducted. They are predicting 80 exhibitors from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Finland, Denmark, Sweden and Russia.
Convene 2016 takes place 10-11 February 2016 at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre Litexpo in Vilnius.
This year Convene attracted 160 hosted buyers and around 400 visitors.
