An organiser of experiential programmes has opened a new office in Spain.
A spokeswoman for TRO said the agency has opened a new office in Madrid in the wake of winning new business to deliver events for the Spanish bank BBVA, and delivering a big gala dinner for 1,000 people for Real Madrid.
The agency already has an office in Barcelona but she said the Madrid office will enable it to better serve clients in the rest of Spain, such as Movistar and Mahou San Miguel.
TRO Spain will also provide event support for brands such as Nike, Telefonica, Swarovski, Real Madrid, Havaianas and Meetic.
Alberto Almar, managing director TRO Spain, will look after the firm’s offices in Madrid and Barcelona leading a team of 35 client service, creative and production staff.
Michael Wyrley-Birch, chief operating officer TRO EMEA, based in Isleworth, said: “We are increasingly receiving client briefs that require TRO to have expertise in multiple markets. We continue our strategy to expand our global agency model opening offices in local regions, while working as one agency unit with a consistent vision and culture, to ensure we are well placed to respond to client requirements for regional contracts.”
