£20m refurbishment unveiled at Crowne Plaza Gerrards Cross

Following a £20m complete refurbishment, The Bellhouse Hotel has officially opened its doors as the Crowne Plaza Gerrards Cross.

Local dignitaries, including the Mayor of Beaconsfield John Read, joined local councillors, senior IHG partners, general manager David Jones and over 200 guests to celebrate the official opening.

Described as ‘a celebration of both town & country’, the 138-bedroomed four-star hotel, spa and events centre is set at the base of the Chiltern Hills.

With a nod to the hotel’s automotive history, BMW Group subsidiary Designworks was called upon to devise innovation principles for the meeting and events space; a first for a branded hotel.

The 6,500sqm events space features two large conference and banqueting rooms seating up to 350 and 260 persons respectively. There are six smaller meeting rooms, a ‘Creative Attic’, breakout bar and landscaped garden.
