Social media will be the leading topic at the next Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO) roundtable, to be held at the new Exhibition Centre Liverpool, 8-9 September.
The event will coincide with a fam trip to the city for delegates who will also be among the first to experience ACC Liverpool’s new venue.
The roundtable will discuss social media marketing, how to engage with targeted audiences, build brand loyalty, research the market and drive sales.
A two-hour session will be led by ABPCO board member Nicola Crossland, who was previously MD of an international events agency and a corporate social media marketing agent. The session is designed to offer practical guidance on improving your social media plan.
“This workshop will offer practical hints and tips to those who have taken the plunge, but need a smarter approach,” says Crossland.
“We will be using plain English to explain how to maximise accounts, build a community and design a social media strategy that will help save time, raise your profile, build brand, generate enquiries and take the stress out of managing your online presence.”
Shocklogic, leaders in online event management software and solutions, will also offer practical guidance on how a solid content strategy can be the foundation of an enquiry generating social media campaign.
The Exhibition Centre Liverpool, due to open at the beginning of September, is a 8,100sqm venue capable of hosting exhibitions, conferences, banquets, concerts and sporting events on a national and international scale.
