A hotel chain has snapped up a Beatles-inspired property.
The Hard Days Night hotel, in Liverpool, is Millennium Hotels and Resorts’s 24th property in the UK and Europe.
Opened in 2008, the hotel is housed in a Grade II listed building in the city centre.
CEO of Millennium Hotels and Resorts Aloysius Lee said: “Liverpool is a leading tourist destination that continues to attract hundreds of thousands of visitors annually on a mass global scale.
“It continues to maintain its prominent stance by investing in an array of forward-thinking regeneration projects, while firmly retaining its Beatles legacy. Being the only one of its kind, Hard Days Night Hotel offers a Beatles experience like no-other and we are confident that our guests, particularly from countries including China, USA, Canada and Europe, will be excited by the choice of this latest acquisition. Furthermore, the ‘Fab Four’ and Liverpool are very popular to both the North American and Asian markets.
“We are thrilled to welcome Hard Days Night Hotel and more than 150 team members into the MHR global family.”
The general manager of Hard Days Night Hotel Mike Dewey added: “We are delighted that Millennium Hotels and Resorts have acquired the hotel, as their ethos and passion for genuine hospitality fits hand in hand with what we have successfully delivered during the past seven years; coupled with the benefits that being part of a global family now affords our staff an exciting career progression with worldwide opportunities.
“Hard Days Night Hotel is a first-class hotel that continues to exceed guests’ expectations and we look forward to widening our global reputation by maximising the distribution channels effectively run by MHR and taking the property to the next level.”
