Event organisers move closer to share costs

An event organiser plans to slash its overheads by sharing office space with its design partner.

Lime Blue Solutions is moving into the office of Symbius at Pinkneys Farm in Maidenhead.

The directors at the two companies believe the move will create more “synergy” between the services provided.

But a spokeswoman for the company said there are no plans for the two firms to share a P&L.

She said: “It is purely a move to simplify our operations for better efficiency. Both companies will still remain completely separate entities. With both companies under one roof and in the same office space we can work more closely together in the services that we offer to appeal to a wider client base. The Symbius office has always been at Pinkneys Farm, just a few steps away from Lime Blue, so the move made perfect business sense. It not only saves on overheads but means that by working even closer we can capitalise on the synergies between the two businesses.”

Nicola Miller, managing director of Lime Blue Solutions, said: “We have always had strong links with Symbius and this was a natural progression for both businesses. Having everyone in the same offices creates a more efficient working relationship and this will have huge benefits for our clients. We are continually striving to give our customers the best service and value for money and this is a move to ensure we continue doing this.”

Clive Miller, managing director of Symbius, said: “We have been a partner with Lime Blue Solutions for over ten years. We are delighted that we can now work more closely with them and fully enhance the creative elements of the services they provide.”
