Liverpool-based Epic Apart Hotel has opened its latest property in the city’s RopeWalks area.
Apartment hotels can provide big savings for delegates and business travellers, provided the team is close-knit and doesn’t mind sharing a kitchen and facilities.
The new Epic property at 75 Duke Street boasts 17 contemporary apartments, bringing the company’s occupancy in the city centre to 35 apartments and studios.
Epic has invested £800k in transforming a former office building, which had been derelict since 1984.
There are two mezzanine studios in the new property, one featuring a showcase courtyard garden.
The development comes as Epic’s two other properties on Seel Street and Campbell Street in Liverpool continue to achieve excellent scores on Trip Advisor – currently number one and three respectively in the 84 property strong ‘speciality lodging in Liverpool’ section on the travel review website.
Simon Beer, managing director, tells CN: “We are delighted to open 75 Duke Street, which we think is a great addition to the city’s accommodation offer. The new property is ideal for groups who want more than a hotel can offer, at a price that’s within their budget. We’ve also launched our new ePod concept within the building, which are smaller rooms that are perfect for the solo corporate traveller.”
GM Paris D’Allessandro adds: “Liverpool’s hotel landscape is constantly evolving and improving, so we are proud to bring something new to the table with 75 Duke Street. We look forward to welcoming our guests to the new property.”
Husband and wife team, Simon and Fiona Beer, launched Epic Apart Hotel in 2012 and continue to grow the brand in the serviced-apartments sector, looking to develop further properties in and outside of Liverpool.
