The winners of the 2015 Conference Awards were announced at the Hurlingham Club on 3 July at a ceremony organised by the Global Conference Network.
The awards, all 20 of them, were presented by comedian Lee Nelson.
Nelson’s chirpy style and start faded somewhat as he struggled to keep the audience’s attention and he was upstaged rather by the talent that is freestyle rapper Chris Turner. Catch him if you can.
Winners included The Economist Group’s ‘The Global Crisis of Depression’ for Best New Launch; BrandFuel for Best Conference by an events agency, and i2i Events Group’s Money 20/20 in the Best Large Scale Event or Congress category.
Best Conference Series went to the Linkedin Talent Connect 2014, LinkedIn & emc3, while the venue awards went to the Marriott Kensington (less than 500 delegates), The Mermaid in London (500-1,000 delegates) and Lancaster London (over 1,000 delegates).

Following the main ceremony, guests were invited to continue the celebrations at The Boathouse, Putney.
