PCMA to bring Global Medical Meetings Summit to Scotland

The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) announced this week it is to bring its bi-annual PCMA Global Medical Meetings Summit to Scotland, 13-16 November, 2015.

The summit, an invitation-only event for North American and global senior medical meeting professionals – responsible for medical meetings held globally and global medical association CEOs – will take place at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) and also at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) in Glasgow.

“The PCMA Global Medical Meetings Summit brings together the global leaders who are innovators in the medical meetings industry; those that can critically analyse and openly discuss possible solutions to position medical organisations for success,” said Deborah Sexton, president and CEO, PCMA.

Neil Brownlee, head of business events at VisitScotland said: “The PCMA Global Medical Meetings Summit will represent the second occasion that Scotland has hosted such a prestigious gathering, following the inaugural PCMA Global Corporate Summit in 2012. Since then, Scotland has reinforced its position as a world-class host destination for meetings and events of all sizes. We look forward to not only showcasing the country and its credentials in the medical sphere, but also to providing an unparalleled backdrop to inspire these global leaders.”

The Summit is an invitation-only intimate programme with limited attendance. Those who qualify and are interested in attending should contact Kelly Peacy, senior vice-president, Education and Events, PCMA at kpeacy@pcma.org

There are a few supplier opportunities.

Headquartered in Chicago, PCMA has 17 chapters throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico with 6,700 members in more than 39 countries.
