UEFA and Lucozade fuel busy summer for TRO

From golf, to running, rugby and football, experiential marketing agency TRO is anticipating a busy summer delivering sporting activations for brand clients.
“Our summer of activity is full steam ahead with events and experiential campaigns for clients from Volvo and Lucozade Sport and Energy, to Pink Lady apples and Tenderstem broccoli,” says Sian Bates, TRO client services director.
“Next week we’re in Berlin with Nissan creating a brand experience for fans at the UEFA Champions League Final.
“We will be at Goodwood Festival of Speed in a few weeks’ time with three automotive brands. And we’re just back from Wentworth delivering the BMW PGA Championship.”
Bates says summer is historically the agency’s busiest time of year.
TRO’s BMW account team recently delivered the 11th consecutive brand experience for BMW at the BMW PGA Golf Championship, held annually at Wentworth Club.
TRO says it is also in the midst of a nine-month long ‘Point of Sweat’ sampling campaign for client Lucozade Sport. The team are travelling the length and breadth of the UK visiting grassroots running events, rugby meets and football games, educating the target sports participants consumer on the importance and benefits of a fuel and hydration regime. Sports scientists will be providing the science behind Lucozade Sport  while handing out full bottle samples to sports enthusiasts nationwide.
