RIBA Venues lands gem of a conference

RIBA Venues has won the contract to host
the Gemmological Association of Great Britain’s (Gem-A) annual Conference 2015.

The
event, to be held 21-22 November 2015, will also incorporate the 18th International Federation of
European Education in Gemmology (FEEG) Symposium.

The
conference will take place in the London venue’s Jarvis Hall and is expected to
attract 250 gemmologists, jewellers and diamond experts from across the globe.

In
a change to the association’s conference of previous years, the event has
partnered with the 18th International FFEG Symposium
to bring together two big events in the gemmological calendar, under one roof.

RIBA
Venues’ Head of Venues, Stephanie Ellrott, says: “We are delighted Gem-A chose
RIBA Venues to host its annual conference and symposium. London is the ideal
location for an international event of this kind and we look forward to helping
organisers make the event a resounding success.”

RIBA
Venues is the conference and events arm of the Royal Institute of British
Architects, based at 66 Portland Place, Marylebone, London.
