Olympia London continues to boost its events staff with the appointment of two new conference sales executives. Caroline Jones and Zoe Powell have been appointed to new roles in the team at an exciting period of growth for the venue’s Conference Centre.
Jones joins Olympia London from Kudos Catering UK, while Powell comes to Olympia London with 10 years’ of experience in events management and event sales. Her most recent role was at Lime Venue Portfolio, a division of Compass Group. She has worked at venues including Chelsea Football Club and the Natural History Museum.
Head of sales at Olympia London, Nick Graham, said: “I am delighted to have Caroline and Zoé on board; both talented individuals who will help drive growth and maximise new business at Olympia London Conference Centre. They join us at a great time, with conference bookings rising by a quarter already for this year and some strong enquiries from the corporate events sector. We are looking forward to an excellent year ahead.”
Olympia London Conference Centre is up for two awards at this year’s Conference Awards, for Best Venue and for Customer Service. The sales team at Olympia London won Best Sales Team at the recent Exhibition News Awards.
