Lumi launches new delegate tracking solution

Event
technology provider Lumi has
launched a delegate tracking product to enable organisers to speed up delegate
check-in, monitor their attendance and gain insights into attendee behaviour. 

Using
radio frequency identification (RFID) and near field communication (NFC), Lumi
Track claims to be able to speed up the registration process, as well as
offering delegate tracking and reports, with entrance and exit timestamps.

Attendees
are checked-in and out of events using an NFC-enabled mobile phone or tablet. If
the Wi-Fi connection drops, a common occurrence at large-scale events, attendee
data is saved on the device and uploaded immediately once the connection is
restored.

Organisers
can monitor attendance in real-time from Lumi Track’s online dashboard, accessing
it from any device with an internet connection. They can also use the product
to see when a room is nearing capacity. In
addition to real-time analytics, Lumi Track offers organisers reports that can
be exported to Microsoft Excel.
