Agency homes in on Wyboston Lakes

A major conference booking agency has returned to the fold and
moved its central office to Wyboston
Lakes
in Bedfordshire.

Conference
and hotel booking agency, Business Bookings Ltd, has established a new
satellite base at Wyboston’s Knowledge Centre. The move signals a homecoming
for MD Wendy Lewis who started the company 20 years ago from a shed in her
garden when she lived in Sandy.

Rapid growth during the noughties resulted in Lewis moving the
business, firstly to offices in Sandy, and then to larger premises in
Northamptonshire.

However,
with several staff still living in Sandy and with the business continuing to
grow, Lewis decided that a base was needed locally.

“We
have built the business by developing close personal working relationships with
all our clients rather than becoming just another web-based agency. Our clients
include national and international organisations, and we book venues both in
the UK and abroad, so it’s essential that we are not only easily accessible by
road, rail or air but also have excellent communication links, such as high
speed broadband. Wyboston Lakes provides all this as well as ultra-modern
offices in a very impressive location.”

“Wyboston
Lakes is recognised as a leading conference centre and with a hotel and Spa on
site as well, it dovetails neatly with our business,” Lewis added.

“The serviced offices at Knowledge Centre are designed for growing
businesses and it will be easy to expand our operation without needing to move.”
