Zibrant boss hails firm’s approach to equality

An event agency boss has said talent, not gender, is the key to
success in the industry.

The Times has named Zibrant as one of the top 50 employers for
women.

The events agency was recognised alongside companies including Barclays, Lloyds
Banking Group and the Post Office, for leading the way in gender equality in
the workplace.

Nigel Cooper, Chairman of Zibrant said: “I’m delighted and proud that our staff
and business have once again been recognised as a Times Top 50 Employer for
Women. Zibrant is built upon a solid structure of equality and diversity and of
course good people, which is defined by talent as opposed to positive
discrimination. We run the business as a meritocracy recognising and rewarding
our people based on individual merit and continue to invest heavily in
structures and processes to reinforce this philosophy.”

This is the third year that Zibrant has been recognised by The Times. The
company was first honoured in 2012.
