The International Special Events Society (ISES) has announced directors from Vok Dams, Google and MGM are among its speaker line-up for its global forum, ISES Accelerate. The event takes place at the Emirates Stadium, 15 May.
Keynote speeches, panel discussions and workshops will be led by event professionals including Colja Dams, CEO at Vok Dams (pictured), the man that closed Miami airport to launch the Lamborghini Aventador in 2013; Michelle Bryan-Low, head of customer marketing at Google EMEA, and creator of major events in the UK, Europe and Middle East; and King Dahl, MGM Resorts executive director of event design, responsible for designing shows and events across the MGM Las Vegas portfolio of 12 venues including the MGM Grand, Bellagio and Delano Resorts.
The theme for the conference, ‘Creativity Accelerates Business Growth’, links the speed of modern business life to efficiently harnessing creative processes and producing innovative events and profits. Confirmed topics to be discussed include Kevin Jackson’s ‘Creativity: Why it makes you money’; King Dahl’s ‘X to the 5th Power’ – a design-focused collaborative session; and a session on authenticity from former European Business Speaker of the Year, Craig Goldblatt.
James Morgan, affiliate chair at ISES EMEA, says: “How do you use your creativity to produce great events and grow your business? It’s a question frequently asked and is fundamental to producing successful events. ISES Accelerate is the conference that will provide solutions to this question, bringing in ideas and expertise from award-winning speakers from around the world.”
ISES Accelerate consists of a full day conference on 15 May, with three days of structured networking, including an opening party on 14 May and optional Essential London Venues tour on 16 May.
Kelly Baker, president of ISES UK and speaker at ISES Accelerate, adds: “With the event industry consistently developing at a rapid pace, it is necessary to provide opportunities for professionals to share best practice and ideas to stay ahead of the curve. We look forward to welcoming friends and colleagues from the UK and further afield to ISES Accelerate.”
Early-bird discounted tickets for the conference are available to buy online until 31 March.
