Olympia intern graduate wins Emprise Young Persons award

Lucy Brackpool, Olympia London’s events and conference co-ordinator, has won the Emprise Young Persons Award from the Institute of Entertainment and Arts Management.

The annual award recognises the work of young people under the age of 30 who have been nominated by their managers for going the extra mile in their job.

“Since joining us in July 2014, Lucy is thriving in her position at Olympia London Conference Centre,” said head of conferences, Sarah Elton-Wall. “She is a willing, enthusiastic and competent member of the team who is quickly establishing herself as a consummate professional.”

Brackpool is a graduate of the internship programme at Olympia London. After successfully completing her placement year at the venue, she was offered a full time role on graduation from her studies in Event Management at Leeds Beckett University.

Other Emprise award winners from Olympia London include Rosalind Cooke, conference and event manager and Jazmin Beale, head of marketing.
