Grass Root appoints new global account director

Customer engagement agency Grass Roots has appointed Simon Mitchell as global account director. Mitchell was previously head of network operators at Google (Motorola).
 
In a move towards sector-focused integrated solution selling, Grass Roots says Mitchell will bolster the expertise it can offer to the telecommunications sector. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the growth of existing clients and seeking out new business opportunities within the telecommunications arena.
 
Mitchell is well known in the telco space having worked for brands such as Samsung, Telefonica, 02, Orange, Three, Reliance Globalcom and Vodafone Group.
 
Other global account directors are already in place in sectors including financial, automotive and professional services.
