Scottish hospitality company, The Fusion Group, has launched a new destination management service to tap into Scotland’s increased flight accessibility throughout North America and Western and Central Europe.
The new destination management service, Clearly Scotland, has been launched with the aim of securing and bringing new business to Scotland, according to directors Alex McKie and Stuart Evans will jointly head up the new brand. The new service is said to be fully transparent on all aspects of pricing and service, with no added mark up to the supplier chain.
“We are excited to launch Clearly Scotland,” said Evans. “We feel our concept of a completely transparent service with no over inflated pricing and made up margins will make Scotland more affordable to international groups.
“With the increased number of flights coming into Scotland from global destinations, the time is right to capitalise on this increased accessibility and affordability.”
McKie added: “Clearly Scotland will negotiate, secure and manage international groups, conferences, incentives, product launches, activities and logistics of all sizes, offering a complete door to door service.”
“Scotland as a product and a destination has a huge appeal globally but has historically been over-priced by middle men, meaning that business on a budget has simply gone elsewhere. We will operate on a truly transparent basis.”
The Clearly Scotland team plans to concentrate on establishing and building up the new brand overseas for the next 12 to 18 months.
Fusion also plans to launch two additional new brands using the transparent pricing concept: Clearly London and Clearly Europe.
“Like the Scottish model, we are already dealing extensively with these locations, it would be crazy not capitalise in these markets at the same time,” said McKie.
