Capita Travel and Events appoints director of meetings and events

Event management company Capita Travel and Events has appointed Paul Stoddart to the position of director of meetings and events. Stoddart was previously group sales director at Banks Sadler. 
In the newly created role, he will be responsible for the strategic direction, management and growth of Capita’s venue finding and events business.  
Stoddart has worked in the meetings and events agency market for 20 years and is experienced in customer development, new business and delivering large and experiential events, particularly within the automotive, finance, IT and healthcare sectors.
