AECC and partners join forces for Aberdeen Invasion event

The Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) team, along with key Aberdeen partners, recently joined forces to showcase the city at the annual Aberdeen Invasion in London.
The event is designed to showcase the Aberdeen region directly to key clients, potential clients, contacts, event partners and decision makers in their own cities.
AECC, along with partners from the National Trust for Scotland, VisitAberdeen and VisitScotland, hosted 60 key clients and contacts for the Aberdeen Invasion event in a bid to encourage them to bring their events to the North East of Scotland.
Fiona Mann, AECC’s director of operations and safety, said: “The Aberdeen Invasion is always well received by our London contacts and this year was definitely highlighted by the news of the new AECC, which everyone was delighted to hear more about.”
Louise Lonie, head of sales and marketing at AECC, added: “By taking Aberdeen direct to London, we are delivering a strong and dynamic message to key industry contacts, that Aberdeen wants their business, Putting Aberdeen on the map; directly in front of the key decision makers.”
