ACC Liverpool hosts BBC Worldwide’s annual showcase

ACC Liverpool recently
welcomed BBC Worldwide for the fourth time for its annual showcase event.

The waterfront venue
hosted over 700 global TV buyers over four days.

Hall two of the
convention centre was transformed to include 600 specially constructed digi
booths for delegates to screen British television content throughout the day.

Highlights of the event
included a dinner held in the arena with celebrities including Michelle Keegan,
Russell Tovey, Kris Marshall and John Bishop. Entertainment was provided by
John Cleese, David Hasslhoff, Paolo Nutini and the Backstreet Boys.

A candlelit dinner was
held at Liverpool Cathedral, themed around the drama Wolf Hall, the
following evening.
