New venues manager by design at RIBA

RIBA Venues, the conference and events arm of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), based at 66 Portland Place in London, has appointed Christine Rupprecht (pictured) as its new venues manager.
Rupprecht joins after seven years working in hotels and venues across operations, sales and planning. She has experience working at Imperial College London, Bespoke Events by Harrods and Rhubarb at the Royal Albert Hall, and also worked on events including the Silverstone Formula 1 and the Remembrance Day event attended by the Queen.
She joins a team sourcing, targeting and winning new business for RIBA Venues across its 23 meeting rooms.
RIBA Venues head of venues Stephanie Ellrott says: “We are delighted to have Christine on board to look after the account and diary management and to be responsible for a team of four.”
