A groundbreaking business breakfast will serve up the
key trends in the event industry on the morning of this year’s Conference and
Hospitality Show (CHS).
The first ‘MPI Insights Business Breakfast’ takes
place at 8am on 24 March at the Leeds Club, Leeds.
The organiser said the event builds on the success of
the January MPI Insights event in London that attracted 90 event planners,
agencies, corporates and suppliers to discuss industry changes.
Emma Cartmell, CHS managing director said: “Working in
partnership with MPI (UK&I), we have created a must-attend event in
Yorkshire. The breadth and quality of the speakers is extremely relevant to all
event buyers and suppliers. We are honoured to have industry stalwart Tony
Rogers discuss event trends, and the dynamic Leigh Jagger, CEO of Banks Sadler

MPI UK&I president Miguel Neves will also be attending to present the
Meetings Outlook survey results.”
President-Elect of the MPI board of
directors, Richard Parker from Zibrant said: “We are delighted to be working
with CHS to create a really beneficial event for our members. Delegates will
gain insider insights from leading associations, buyers and planners who will
speak about the latest changes, trends, demands, and economics of events in
2015. This will be followed by the opportunity to participate in a Q&A
session, which promises to create a dynamic discussion around needs,
demands and innovation in the events industry.”
The Q&A will be feature speakers and
industry specialists including Jane Baker (FreemanXP), Luke Flett (Ashfield
Meetings and Events), Dr Eliza Hixson (Leeds Beckett University), Richard
