Manchester Central on the CASE for 2015

Manchester has landed its bid to host Europe’s largest gathering of educational advancement professionals.
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Europe’s four-day annual conference will come to Manchester Central 31 August-3 September this year and the association has also confirmed it will return to the venue for an additional future event.
Serving educational institutions across the world, each event will attract around 1,000 national and international experts in education. The events will provide a £4.9m boost to the local economy.
Other large international events lined up for 2015 at Manchester Central include the 6th World Congress on Ecological Restoration and the International Surgical Week conference.
CASE Europe previously held events at Manchester Central in 2011 and 2013.
Carolee Summers-Sparks, interim executive director for CASE Europe said: “We are happy to return to the vibrant city of Manchester to host our 2015 annual conference. Manchester Central is an iconic venue in the heart of the city and is easily accessible for our conference delegates who travel from across the UK and rest of Europe.”
Angie Robinson, chief executive of Manchester Central, added: “I’m so pleased that such high-profile events are returning to Manchester year on year.”
