The Event Hire Company has reported a 12 per cent increase in sales in 2014. The year marked an all-time high for the company, which is part of the Crown Group.
The company reports “significant demand for furniture” from the events sector, with a particularly busy festive season. December sales figures rose 17 per cent on 2013, the company reported.
The company believes the upsurge in demand for its events furniture is due to an earlier investment into new stock in 2014.
Managing director Victoria Morgan-Cummins (pictured) said: “December validates the importance of what we at The Event Hire Company are working to achieve. The events industry is growing. Not only do we need to provide the quality products for hire, we need to be able to provide efficiency and flexibility in the service that we provide. We have improved the way our operations work and this is being reflected in the demand for our services”.
The Event Hire Company provides furniture for hire to private individuals and event planners for large events such as Henley Royal Regatta and for corporates such as the BBC, Mercedes-Benz and the Bank of England.
