The new InterContinental London – The O2 on the Greenwich Peninsula, due to open its doors before the end of the year, is to showcase its extensive meetings and events offering at International Confex this year.
The hotel will unveil its facilities, including a 3,000sqm pillar-free ballroom to rival many of Europe’s largest single event spaces.
Located at the core of the hotel’s purpose-built conference centre, the ballroom will accommodate up to 3,000 guests and offer pre-function space in excess of 1,500sqm over two floors. The management says it hopes to attract large-scale conferences, exhibitions, banquets and award ceremonies to this regenerated part of the capital.
The 18-storey hotel will offer riverside views of The O2 and Canary Wharf through floor-to-ceiling glass windows within the pre-function area.
