Inntel snares cinema business

A cinema chain has
appointed a new meetings and business travel management provider.

Inntel won the account
for Odeon following a full Request For Proposal process.

The award continues a
strong 12 months for the Colchester-based agency, with Odeon joining a portfolio that includes Channel 4, Lloyds, AXA and First Group.

The Odeon chain operates
over 880 screens in 114 cinemas across the UK including London’s BFI IMAX and
the flagship Leicester Square cinema.

Inntel director of
business development Jane Dibble said: “We were selected primarily because of
our strength in account management. However we have also helped them to create
a preferred supplier programme where none existed previously.”

A spokesman for Odeon
said: “Moving Odeon’s travel and accommodation account to Inntel has
allowed us to provide a more tailored and strategic approach to this vital area
of spend in line with our company vision and values. We were also impressed
with the professionalism and efficiency with which our business was
implemented, with extensive training on iCentral, Inntel’s online booking
tool”.
