Four new recruits for TBA

London-based live events agency TBA has appointed four new recruits to its team.
 
James Howitt (pictured) has moved from WRG to join TBA in the new role of account director; Rahul Parekh has been appointed as production manager; Karen Swift, who joins from RPM, will take the role of account director; and Olivia Duncan has joined as senior account executive.
 
Howitt has 10 years’ experience in marketing and live events working with a portfolio of clients including Adidas, Bupa, Deloitte, Ford, GE, HP and Nestle, overseeing the delivery of brand launches, large-scale conferences, global communication programmes, exhibitions, sales launches and digital apps.
 
Swift has 11 years’ agency experience delivering creative-led brand experiences and events for both B2B and B2C clients. Previous experience spans sectors including automotive, pharma, finance, FMCG, retail, government and third sector charities, for clients ranging from Porsche, M&S, E.ON, BBC, GSK, O2, Vodafone and Innocent drinks.
 
Parekh joins TBA with five years’ experience within live events. He started as a project coordinator and later moved over to production management. He has worked on a number of projects from the Olympic Torch Relay celebrations across the UK to a number of EE sales conferences, to more recently the Yorkshire leg of The Tour De France.
 
Finally, Duncan has moved into agency life from working at Havas Media as a planner and then spending a year working at a meetings venue.
 
TBA is looking ahead to a busy year following its appointment as the sole creative and production agency for the Rugby World Cup working alongside global sports company IMG and the reappointment from The Football Association to deliver match-day hospitality experiences.
