Around 60 event technology specialists including Cvent, UTrac Online, Ticketscript, CrowdComms, Double Dutch, and Noodle Live are part of the confirmed line-up of exhibitors and participants in seminars and demonstrations at next month’s co-located International Confex and Event Production Shows. The companies are all part of the big reveal of specialist systems and solutions for enhancing events.
Delegates to the shows, which take place 18-19 February at Olympia London, are set to witness new apps, badging, event planning software, projection mapping, registration systems, wearable technologies and more.
At the Event Production Show, representatives from creative agency Imagination will debate how technology can be used to enhance audience experiences, while Sol Johnson of RewindFX will reveal the types of wearable technology set to be seen at events in 2015.
At International Confex, the Technology Theatre will play host to 12 panel debates covering all aspects of new and emerging technologies including iBeacons, holographs and gamification apps. The ‘Technovation Station’ sponsored by Lumi Insight and RewindFX, will be a hands-on area to test virtual and augmented reality simulators, Megabooths and selfie machines, and the ‘Tech Tables’ sponsored by Mexia Communications, will offer advice and guidance on selecting the right technology for events.
Event director Liz Agostini said: “Technology is a rapidly growing sector within the events industry that is forcing us to re-imagine how we produce events, interact with audiences and evaluate success. With so many incredible innovations and inventions now available, we thought it was essential for both exhibitions to renew their focus on the technology market. We hope that our varied exhibitors and experts will educate and inspire event organisers as to how technology can seamlessly integrate and become an integral part of planning.”
