180 not out for Superdrug at EOT

Emirates
Old Trafford’s (EOT)
conference centre, The Point,
this week hosted 180 delegates for beauty and health retailer Superdrug over
two days for one of its five regional conferences.

Over 180 delegates from the company’s Northern and Welsh stores
gathered to hear the company’s business results for 2014, find out their
targets for 2015 and understand the strategy for the coming 12 months.

Paul Moss, Superdrug’s store operations manager, said the
Manchester conference had been a memorable event. EOT head of sales Angela
Hodson (pictured) added: “We were delighted to welcome Superdrug to EOT.
It’s great to see another top retail brand experiencing everything that our
venue has to offer and we are delighted that they selected us to be their venue
for the North England and North Wales stores.”

EOT will
also host an Investec Ashes Test and five ICC World Cup matches including a
semi-final in 2019 after the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club was
allocated its international matches for the period 2017 to 2019 by the England
and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) major match group.

Michael
Cairns OBE, chairman of Lancashire County Cricket Club, said he was
“thrilled” that the venue had been awarded this package of
international matches, which includes an Investec Ashes Test and five ICC World
Cup matches, during the summer of cricket in 2019.

“Following
our £45m redevelopment, Emirates Old Trafford is now rightly recognised as one
of the leading venues in world cricket,” he said.
