Twickenham Experience has appointed James Lee as Head of Conference and Event Sales. Lee takes over from Samme Allen who will join the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre as Head of Business Development and Corporate Sales in January.
Lee joins the team from his previous role as Director at Maxima Training and Development, a consultancy specialising in sales, business development, customer service, training and development within the hospitality sector. Prior to this, Lee was Director of Sales for Thistle Hotels heading up the London and provinces region.
“Joining Twickenham Experience is an amazing opportunity to be part of a fantastic team and to work with a superb venue,” Lee said. “The facilities on offer here at Twickenham are second-to-none and I am looking forward to getting my teeth into our sales activities for the coming year, especially as the profile of the venue will increase even further in the countdown to the World Cup in 2015.”
