Regus Workpods launched at Gatwick Airport

Global workspace provider Regus has launched its first Workpods, situated airside at Gatwick Airport in the South Terminal.
The Workpod, according to Regus, is a private workspace, tailor-made for business, offering business travellers a quiet place to work while waiting for their flight. Inside the pod users have access to business class Wi-Fi, a desk and seat, power and mobile chargers, computer screen and a telephone.
The Workpod is the latest development in the roll-out of Regus Express, offering users flexible workspace outside of traditional Regus business centres in high traffic locations such as railway stations, airports, motorway service stations, retail outlets and hotels.
“Workpods offer business travellers everything they need when working on the move: a quiet space to check emails, make that last call or concentrate on urgent work before they fly. We know that more and more people need to work on the move, and this is another way of helping our customers maximise their productivity,” said Phil Kemp, Global Managing Director of Regus Third Place.
Users can book the Workpod on the spot using their credit card or online on the Regus website in advance of their travel. Half an hour in the Workpod costs £10 +VAT.
Further Workpods are planned for the Gatwick North terminal in early 2015.
