Butlins Conference and Events has reported a 19 per cent growth in business in a year which saw them host events for clients including beauty brand Elizabeth Arden and retailer New Look.
Butlins flagship conference destination in Bognor Regis reported a 43 per cent increase in business in 2014, welcoming a host of new clients including global beauty brand, Elizabeth Arden; high street store, New Look; and pub and brewing company, Green King.
Butlins Conference and Events attributes the increase in revenue to the extensive availability and interest of exclusive hire across all three sites from November until March, which they say has become an increasingly popular choice among conference agents.
In addition to exclusive resort hire, Butlins says its teambuilding offering continues to grow in popularity with over 80 per cent of bookings in 2014 partaking in the bespoke packages on offer.
This success builds on the resort’s performance in 2013, which saw business increase 22 per cent.
“We are delighted with the success of Butlins Conference and Events over the past 24 months; our year-on-year growth demonstrates the brands strength in an ever-evolving marketplace and enduring appeal of our resort offering,” said Simon Jones, National Sales Manager at Butlins Conference and Events. “Looking forward, 2015 promises to be an equally rewarding year with some great client wins already in place and the launch our new lakeside chalet complex at Minehead.”
