Leading industry suppliers confirmed as Confex contractors

International Confex has announced a raft of leading suppliers who have won contracts to work alongside the organisers on the show and to showcase their services to the industry.

Moyne are confirmed to provide the exhibition shell scheme for the event as well as the electrics across the show.

Event Director, Liz Agostini said “We are pleased to be working with Moyne to deliver a fantastic looking event for visitors and exhibitors alike. Moyne are a valued contractor that will offer an exceptional service to our exhibitors.”

Design and build company Solutions2 UK will be showcasing their services by building the seminar theatres at International Confex.

And award-winning Live Buzz has been appointed as the official show registration company.

Live Buzz, MD, Justin Craig added: “LiveBuzz is delighted to be partnering with Mash to provide registration services for International Confex 2015, following a successful collaboration in 2014.”

Organisers are taking a lead in encouraging all visitors to utilise the Official Show app provided by Crowd Compass by Cvent and will not be producing a printed show guide.

“I know many still like to refer to paper guides, but sometimes you have to take a bold step and drive a trend. At many ICCA meetings the lack of a printed paper option for delegates has been proven to drive dramatic increases in use of apps and social media particpation, bringing more delegates into the digital native fold,” Agostini added.

International Confex has appointed The Corporate Team as the official accommodation and guest services supplier. Visitors and exhibitors alike can take advantage of preferential and discounted rates and ease of booking via a dedicated Confex booking system. Book early is the advice from the team to secure the best rates.

International Confex is also working with global speaking agency, Speakers Corner. The agency has been supplying speakers, presenters and hosts for over 15 years working with FTSE100 companies, public sector, event organisers, charities, and everything in between.

MD Nick Gold said: “I am delighted to be working alongside International Confex providing a number of keynote speakers who will offer expertise, insights, and inspiration for visitors to take away to apply to their own personal and professional lives.”

Other important appointments are Thorns as furniture provider, CEVA for logistics, Showplans for floorplans, InEvexco for insurance and McKenzie Arnold for Security.

Registration for the show is now open and free for event industry professionals. This year’s event, alongside The Event Production Show and the Office Management and PA Show, takes place 18-19 February 2015 at Olympia, London.
