Rachael Bartlett has been elected the President of IACC-Europe by the International Association of Conference Centres (IACC). CEO Mark Cooper announced the appointment for a two-year term.
Currently Head of Sales & Marketing at Warwick Conferences, Bartlett assumes the role of President having served as Vice-President and member of the IACC Global Board of Directors for the past four years. She succeeds Jeu Bressers, who steps down after serving as President for five years.
Bartlett said she was delighted to be elected, adding: “Jeu has made considerable achievements and progress establishing the IACC-Europe chapter since its formation in 2011 and the board of directors is grateful for his valuable contributions to IACC.”
Bartlett said plans included continuing to achieve the strategic plans set by IACC. “Our focus for 2015 is on continuing to grow our educational platforms and to raising awareness of IACC, our brand and the value that conference centres bring to all stakeholders.”
Bartlett has 20 years of experience in conference centre market including with brands such as Principal-Hayley, Macquarie Graduate School of Management and Mount Eliza Business School, the Sundial Group and De Vere Venues.
