Award-winning interior designer and Dragon’s Den panelist Kelly Hoppen has been announced as the first keynote speaker for next February’s International Confex.
Hoppen is also an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust and the government’s GREAT campaign and works with UK Trade and Investment to promote the benefits of exporting to small and medium size businesses. She will be taking to the stage on the second day of the show, Thursday 19 February 2015, to talk about ‘Why Britain’s got talent’ focusing on creativity, design, entrepreneurship and her role for the GREAT campaign.
Hoppen has an MBE for her services to interior design, and sealed her top spot in the world of interior design when she won the Andrew Martin Award. She has also fulfilled her lifelong dream of designing her own range of products for the home, launching her e-commerce website this year and is the author of eight design books. Hoppen will offer inspiration, vision and strategies that can be transferred to the events industry.
Hoppen joins International Confex via speaker agency Speaker’s Corner, which has been supplying speakers, presenters and hosts for over 15 years, working with FTSE100 companies, public sector, event organisers and charities.
Nick Gold, Managing Director of Speaker’s Corner, said: “I am delighted to be working alongside International Confex providing a number of keynote speakers who will offer expertise, insights, and inspiration for visitors to take away to apply to their own personal and professional lives.
“There is a fabulous opportunity to tap into the wealth of knowledge and the diversity of experts across a range of industries to broaden the experience for Confex visitors.”
International Confex takes place at Olympia London, 18-19 February 2015.
