Meeting Professionals International (MPI) is launching a hosted buyer programme at the 2015 edition of its European Meeting and Event Conference (EMEC).
MPI says it will host a maximum of 25 qualified corporate meeting planners, including 15 European planners and 10 US-based planners that conduct business in Europe.
The upcoming EMEC will be held, 1-3 February 2015, at the new ICE Krakow Congress Centre in Poland.
Hitherto, MPI’s hosted buyer programme has only been offered in North America at its annual World Education Congress (WEC).
MPI has been one of the largest intermediaries for IMEX America’s hosted buyer programme since the tradeshow’s inception four years ago.
“We are extremely pleased to debut our renowned hosted buyer programme in Poland next year,” said Cindy D’Aoust, Chief Operating Officer (COO) for MPI.
“Our team has worked diligently to grow and refine the MPI hosted buyer programme, so we are primed to deliver an exceptional and intimate experience that will be invaluable to programme participants during EMEC 2015,” she added.
Planners can still apply for complimentary EMEC 2015 registration, airfare credit and a three-night hotel stay.
Suppliers are promised up to 15 face-to-face appointments, prime exposure within EMEC’s MarketSquare, and one complimentary EMEC 2015 registration.
EMEC is MPI’s signature event through which it delivers education, business and networking opportunities in Europe. The annual conference features distinguished presenters from the region and a variety of education sessions – many of which are eligible for clock hours or continuing education units.
MPI is the largest global meeting and event industry association with approximately 18,500 members in 70 chapters and clubs worldwide. Registration for EMEC 2015 is open at: mpiweb.org/emec2015
