Leading anaesthetists were welcomed last week at the Belfast Waterfront Conference and Exhibition Centre for The Safe Anaesthesia Liaison Group (SALG) Annual Patient Safety Conference.
Belfast Waterfront welcomed, for the first time, The Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA) and of the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland (AAGBI) and NHS England, for their annual SALG conference.
Charlie McLaughlan, RCoA Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Clinical Quality, said: “Belfast Waterfront’s prime city centre location with accommodation next door and very accommodating staff made our decision an easy one.”
The Royal College of Anaesthetists held a CPD Study Day in the venue the following day at which 10 keynote speakers delivered sessions on hot topics facing the profession, while six trainees delivered presentations in breakout areas.
