Chambers Travel Events has appointed four more staff members as it strengthens its foothold in the pharmaceutical sector.
Victoria Mitchell has joined the company as Events Manager and brings extensive experience of the medical sector, especially healthcare and compliance regulations, having previously spent four years at MCI Group as Project Manager.
Liam Lazenby has been appointed to head up Chambers’ new Platinum Service, which has been developed to meet demand for bespoke project management. Lazenby previously spent three years at BCD Travel as a group travel consultant handling group and transient bookings for clients such as GlaxoSmithKline.
Mark Forns returns to the company in the role of Project Manager after two years at Reed & McKay as a group travel consultant. Forns’ main responsibility will be managing events for multi-national 3D design and software corporation, Autodesk.
Noelle Allam has been appointed as Operations Manager to streamline event management and travel processes. She joins the events team from Chambers’ sister travel management division where she has been a senior team manager for four years, latterly heading up Chambers’ implant travel desk at Imagination Europe.
“These are exciting times at Chambers Travel Events as we continue to go from strength to strength and win significant new pieces of business,” said Mike Leeson, Senior Events Manager.
“But it’s important that we recruit the right people with strong backgrounds in event management, travel and operations so that we can maintain the right balance between business growth and delivering innovative projects with impeccable service.”
