Venue Expo opens in Manchester; announces move to Liverpool

The organiser of The Venue Expo, which opened today (1 September) at EventCity, Manchester, has announced the 2015 edition of the event will relocate to Exhibition Centre Liverpool.
Organiser UKFE says the decision to relocate is part of the event’s growth plans.
Joseph Davies, Show Manager, said: “Working alongside Exhibition Centre Liverpool will be the perfect way to showcase the potential and growth that a show like The Venue Expo has in this part of the UK, so we are excited to already be in the planning stages of the 2015 show.”

Tim Banfield, Commercial Director of ACC Liverpool said: “Exhibition Centre Liverpool will be a new purpose-built event complex and will enable us to target larger national and international exhibitions and conferences, particularly those with plans for expansion such as The Venue Expo, which we look forward to welcoming next year as one of initial events to take place at our new venue.”

The Venue Expo 2014 opened with 200 exhibitors covering the three streams of the Expo’s proposition: Venues, Logistics and Added Features.
Show features include a number of CPD-accredited seminar stages covering leadership, marketing, live production and keynote topics across the two days.
Speakers taking to seminar stages today and tomorrow include Marco Forgione, CEO of EVCOM; Kevin Jackson, VP of Sales and Marketing at George P Johnson; and Jackie Mulligan, Principal Lecturer and Director of Enterprise at the International Centre for Research on Events, Tourism and Hospitality at Leeds Metropolitan University.
The Venue Expo runs until 2 September.
