Leeds Metropolitan University has rebranded to Leeds Beckett University in a move, it says, to reflect the ambition and distinctive position of the university in a competitive global context. The conferencing facilities will remain under the Well Met Conferencing brand.
“We have reached a milestone for our University as we become Leeds Beckett University,” says Professor Susan Price, Vice Chancellor. “We’ve made significant progress over the last few years and that is down to the hard work and dedication of staff and students.”
Kate Davis, Head of Business Development for Campus and Residential Services at Leeds Beckett University, adds: “This is an exciting milestone in our University’s rich history. While the University’s name is changing, our commitment, dedication and our core elements will remain the same.”
