ISES elects new International President

The International Special Events Society (ISES) has elected Kevin White as its new International President for the 2014/15 year.

White, founder and Chief Strategist of XPL, the Boston-based live experience agency, is a previous President of the ISES New York Metro Chapter and has been a member of the association’s International Board of Governors for the past seven years.

The new President was inaugurated at the association’s Annual General Meeting, which took place during ISES Live in Seattle recently.

“It’s an exciting time to be part of the leadership of ISES,” he said. “We are engaged in high level, long-term discussions about the power and value of community and how they can be brought to bear in today’s hyper-distractive world. The society is contemplating some powerful pivots in our approach and it will be incredible to watch the end results come to life”.

It was announced in Boston that the destination for ISES Live 2015 will be New Orleans.
