Live and visual communication industry association EVCOM has announced a strategic partnership with Olympia London, under which the west London venue will be host and headline sponsor of next week’s (17 September) educational and networking event, Summer EVCOM.
Summer EVCOM promises “exciting content in cross-media thinking and the latest digital technology for live events”. The event will be the first initiative from the new partnership between the venue and EVCOM and the association’s Chief Executive Marco Forgione (pictured), said: “To be on board with one of London’s leading venues is part of our commitment to helping various stakeholders work together for productive ends in the exciting world of the live events sector. Olympia is a fantastic, centrally located and beautiful venue for our members to collaborate for Summer EVCOM and we look forward to other projects to come.”

Summer EVCOM is this year themed around ideas of collaboration and will offer three streams: Content & Channels, Technology & Innovation and Your Business & Ideas. Speakers include Bobi Carley, Commercial Director, Disneymedia+ UK & Ireland, Toby Lewis Managing Director of The Live Group, Andrew Smith, Creative Director at A-Vision, and Will Glendinning, Founder and Director, Allium Group and Allium Opus.
