CWT Meetings & Events partners with Cvent

CWT Meetings & Events has signed a partnership agreement with cloud-based enterprise event management platform Cvent.

CWT Meetings & Events will introduce Cvent’s dedicated event management system in a phased approach over the coming months, including activation for clients in North America, Asia Pacific and across Europe.
CWT says the new programme will work in parallel with its technology systems, offering a wider technology portfolio and strengthening its global strategic meetings management services.
The Cvent technology will enable CWT Meetings & Events customers to use a range of meetings and events management software including the latest in meeting planning, venue sourcing, event management mobile apps, payment processing and travel management.
“This relationship with Cvent strengthens our global proposition, using technology to improve the event experience for attendees and organisers as well as providing valuable management information for procurement professionals,” says Floyd Widener, Senior VP, CWT Meetings & Events global.
