Event management agency Zibrant is updating its technology infrastructure with a £1m investment programme.
The move has seen Zibrant partner with technology companies to create a cohesive and integrated system to improve internal processes. The new platforms, the agency says, will offer the target audience an improved user experience when planning events.
“Such a complete transformation presented many challenges and our strategy was to upgrade our infrastructure replacing our servers, pc’s, laptops and mobile phones to link with the best in class global technology providers,” says Helen McCabe, Director of Operations at Zibrant.
Nigel Cooper (pictured), Director of parent company Motivcom and Chairman of Zibrant added: “Some of our systems, while functional, were in need of a refresh, sowe committed £1m to a complete restructure of our operating systems to propel us to the forefront of the industry.”
Fay Sharpe, MD Sales and Marketing, said two clients were already using the new system and the plan is to have all clients using the system by the end of the year.
In addition to this, Zibrant is rolling out a new web-based venue-finding system, which will go live across the business by December 2014.
