Venue Expo exhibitors given masterclass on maximising ROI

Exhibitors of The Venue Expo, which takes place at EventCity, Manchester on 1-2 September, were given a masterclass on how to maximise their ROI while exhibiting at the show.
Organisers of The Venue Expo,UKFE, hosted the day at its Liverpool HQ.
UKFE appointed Tony Morris, Sales Doctor at, to teach exhibitors new sales skills and communication techniques, as well as focusing on closing leads, conversion methods and more. Tweet Wall Pro also held a session to support exhibitors using social media.
“We wanted to give exhibitors the skills they needed to grasp the opportunities they’ll have at The Venue Expo next week so it’s great to hear so much knowledge has been shared. It also gives us hope for a fantastic event next week,” said Marketing and Events Manager from The Venue Expo, Elena Doyle.

Other show features include four seminar stages covering leadership, marketing, live production and keynote topics, with all seminars being CPD accredited.

The show has confirmed 200 exhibitors covering the three streams of The Venue Expo’s proposition: Venues, Logistics and Added Features.

In other news, Leeds Metropolitan University will celebrate 18 years of its UK Centre for Events Management (UKCEM) at The Venue Expo.

Current students and graduates from the UK’s longest-running events management course at Leeds Met, which will become Leeds Beckett University on 22 September, will come together at the Expo for the Big Northern UKCEM Gathering, to mark the centre’s achievements, partnerships and developments.
The event will take place on Monday 1 September at 2.30pm in the Expo’s networking lounge, and will also welcome many of the companies who provide student placements.
