Coventry’s Ricoh Arena may have lost the city’s football club as a paying tenant, but 50 staff from online payment service for schools, ParentPay, are moving to new offices at the stadium on 7 August.
ParentPay is used in 4,000 schools and by a million parents throughout the UK.
The company has now moved all its technical operations, customer service, marketing and software development teams in Coventry into the Ricoh Arena as part of a continued expansion.
Liz Cooper, Marketing Director at the Ricoh Arena, said she was delighted to welcome ParentPay to the venue as its latest tenant.
“The Ricoh Arena has always been a multi-purpose venue and we are looking forward to being part of ParentPay’s continuing success story.
“Their staff numbers are rising annually and it made sense to bring their entire Coventry workforce to one flagship building and we are pleased the Ricoh Arena is going to be their new home.”
She told CN the Ricoh also expects to win some events business from ParentPay, including board meetings, company-wide meetings, product launches, customer training, sales meetings and industry association business.
